By Air
All major European national carriers offer direct flights to Berlin. From overseas you will most likely have to change in Frankfurt, Munich, Amsterdam or London. Berlin is also a major destination for low cost carriers.
The busiest Berlin airport is Tegel (TXL), about 8 km northwest of the city centre, which primarly serves destinations with Germany and Western Europe and the rest of the world.
Schönefeld (SXF), some 22 km southwest of the city centre, handles most flights to / from Eastern Europe. Schönefeld airport is a popular airport for low cost carriers, like Easyjet or Ryanair.

Take the bus no. X9 towards "Zentrum" until railway station "Zoologischer Garten". Use then the underground U2 towards "Pankow" and get off at "Potsdamer Platz". Allow 40 minutes for the journey.

- Schönefeld airport to the Ritz-Carlton

- Public Transportation:
Use the shuttle until S-Bahnhof Schönefeld, take then the airport-express (every 30 minutes) until Alexanderplatz and use the underground U2 towards “Ruhleben”. Get off at Potsdamer Platz. Allow 55 minutes for the journey.

By Rail
Germany and Berlin have an extensive rail network with Euro-City, Inter-City and Inter-City Express trains. The new central station is "Berlin Hauptbahnhof"
- Berlin Hauptbahnhof to the Ritz-Carlton.
Puplic transportation:
Take the bus no. M41 towards "Sonnenallee/Baumschulenstr.". Get off at
"S-Potsdamer Platz/Voßstr."
- Taxi: Allow 10 minutes for the journey, taxi fee is approx. € 10.00.
By Car
An excellent motorway links Berlin with all major German and European Cities
Arriving on motorway A2 (from Hannover) or motorway A9 (from Leipzig/Nürnberg)
- At merging point Potsdam take "Berliner Ring A10" towards Dresden.
- At merging point Drewitz take "A115" towards Berlin-Zentrum.
- At merging point Funkturm follow the "A100" towards Hamburg.
- Exit at "Spandauer Damm"to the right towards "Charlottenburg", follow the street straight on the "Otto-Suhr-Allee" until the roundabout at Ernst-Reuter-Platz.
- Take the third exit (Tiergarten) and turn into "Straße des 17. Juni" , take the second exit at the statue "Siegessäule" towards “Potsdamer Platz“ straight until the Brandenburger Gate.
- Leave "Straße des 17. Juni" and turn right into Ebertstraße, just straight forward onto Potsdamer Platz and turn right before you arrive at the traffic light on Potsdamer Platz – pass the restaurant Vapiano on the corner and use the hotel entrance.
Arriving on motorway A 12 (from Frankfurt/Oder) or A 13 (from Dresden)
- At Schönefelder Kreuz take the "Berliner Ring A10" towards Potsdam.
- Exit at "Rangsdorf" and follow the B96 towards Berlin-Tempelhof.
- Follow the B96 and pass airport Tempelhof using Tempelhofer Damm and Mehringdamm, turn left at Hallesches Tor into Stresemannstraße.
- Cross Potsdamer Platz and turn left for the hotel entrance
Arriving on motorway A24 (from Hamburg)
- Take "Berliner Ring A10" towards "Berlin-Zentrum"
- At merging point Oranienburg follow the “A111“ towards "Berlin-Zentrum"
- At merging point Charlottenburg use the “A100“ towards "Zentrum".
- Then follow the instructions from motorway A2 or A9.
